My avatar is a racist that thinks Black people were cursed like Uncle Rukus in the interesting animation "Bondocks". If this offends anyone, I am truly sorry but my Avatar strongly thinks Blacks are cursed. Seriously, if you look around the world, you would notice that anything the white man touches turns to gold or wherever they dwell seems like paradise on earth. A typical example is South Africa, I seldom ponder "maybe if our British colonial masters never left, Nigeria would have been better". I know they would steal from us but it is not as worse as Nigerians stealing from Nigeria. The situation in this country ruins dreams and if you are not strong, you would give up. Even if a white man would steal from his own economy, I am positive that he would make social welfare increase and this is a FACT. I am proud to be black, don't get me wrong but my avatar thinks White folks are just blessed with organisation, innovation and intelligence. xoxo, lamide....
Fuel subsidy and Nigerians...You want to know what I think? Well, I know this, it is going to make 2012 hard for Nigerians. I don't care how they paint it, they say the removal of fuel subsidy will bring benefits. What kind? increase in the prices of goods and services because petroleum is directly or indirectly related to every sector in the economy. I thought Goodluck was suppose to deliever us and take us to the land of milk and honey. Goodluck seems to be bringing us badluck. They say if you talk about Nigeria's issues, you would get a migraine. The government should just have mercy on the masses and for once be selfless. The middle class are not in the christmas mood. Why? they say "the economy is not smiling at them at all". I just ponder how the poor fellows are faring in this holiday season. If you are removing fuel subsidy, are you increasing the salary of workers? I am beginning to lose faith in this nation. It seems like being stagnant is something the leaders want for the country because their pockets are never dry. The positive people in this country just keep believing. My sister is already planning not to return to this country after her masters. I don't blame her, she's just another citizen that is slowly loosing her faith. God save Nigeria. xoxo, lamide...

Style tips for weddings
Everyone wants to look elegant at wedding ceremonies, especially the ladies who feel they might meet Prince charming at the occassion.
There are two colours of clothing you must never wear-Black and white. You must avoid black because it's a depressing colour for such occassion and you must avoid white because the Bride is already wearing white and you don't want to be tagged an attention thief...lol. Wear bright colours and spice it up with heels. If you despise heels and want something flat and comfortable, wear flat smart shoes. Be warned, never wear a pair of sandals to a wedding. It's too casual.

Ankara evolution.
Ankara is timeless and keeps evolving. Its value has increased due to international demand.
My favourite African print is Daviva because it's colourful, beautiful and trendy.
it can be casual, sophisticated or chic depending on the designer. Flaunt your Ankara because it's your African pride. xoxo...Lamide.
