I enjoyed mine, it was my first Christmas with my husband. I got married last week to my best friend, it was an intimate ceremony with my family and close friends. Nothing cliché.
I've shared a couple of musical lyrics on my blog to inspire my readers. Today, I want to dedicate the lyrics of Tyrese's "Best in me" to my best friend / husband. The first time I listened to this song, I was in a friend's room, the lyrics described what I would love in a lifetime partner and I think an angel passed by me on that day because my husband describes someone I had always prayed and longed for.
He is God fearing, he is beautiful inside and outside, I know "beautiful is not an adjective to describe a male" but it fits perfectly to describe him. He is so kind and down to earth. His humility inspires me, his jokes are soothing especially on days when I am stressed. In a nutshell, he is the man of my dreams and the "Prince Charming" that I hoped will sweep me off my feet in an imaginative glass slipper. Lol!
