Love life tatafo

Merry Christmas Lovelies, I hope you had an awesome day celebrating Jesus Christ and you had a chance to be wrapped up in the love, peace and warmth of this holy season.

I enjoyed mine, it was my first Christmas with my husband. I got married last week to my best friend, it was an intimate ceremony with my family and close friends. Nothing cliché.

I've shared a couple of musical lyrics on my blog to inspire my readers. Today, I want to dedicate the lyrics of Tyrese's "Best in me" to my best friend / husband. The first time I listened to this song, I was in a friend's room, the lyrics described what I would love in a lifetime partner and I think an angel passed by me on that day because my husband describes someone I had always prayed and longed for.

He is God fearing, he is beautiful inside and outside, I know "beautiful is not an adjective to describe a male" but it fits perfectly to describe him. He is so kind and down to earth. His humility inspires me, his jokes are soothing especially on days when I am stressed. In a nutshell, he is the man of my dreams and the "Prince Charming" that I hoped will sweep me off my feet in an imaginative glass slipper.  Lol!

Best in me  by Tyrese (Dedicated to my husband)

What a joy it is to be loved by you
My most precious gift, my guardian angel
I believe God sent you here to slow me down.
And So whatever it takes imma keep you around baby.

I feel like i can conquer the world with you by my side.
cause of your unconditional love
baby that's why
You bring out the best in me
cause you are the best baby
And if I had to do it again (I'll still choose you)
You bring out the best of me
Cause you are the best baby

I feel like i can conquer the world with you by my side
Cause of your unconditional love
baby that's why
You bring out the best in me
cause you are the best baby
And if I had to do it again (I'll still choose you)
You bring out the best of me
Cause you are the best baby

So if you're feeling like you got that man
You think he's the best
You think he's the world
Throw your hands up and sing to the world
He's the best. he's the best man
So the next time you see a man and you think he's fine
Look him in the eye and be like Na Na
He can never be like mine, mine
Cause He's the best, he's the best man

You bring out the best in me
cause you are the best baby
And I had to do it again (I'll still choose you)
You bring out the best in me
Cause you are the best baby.

Note: Tyrese was singing to a lady. So I've altered the lyrics to replace she/her with he/him.

When you are in love, you wish time could stand still but it doesn't. I'm on a new journey and with the grace of God by our side, I hope to bask in the glory of each moment spent with you.

Who has been M.I.A? Me!!!

Hello, it's me! I was wondering if after all these silent times, you would like to read my blog. Lol! The Adele's Hello challenge on twitter was the most hilarious stuff I 've seen on social media.

I have been behind the scenes lately, taking time to develop myself and get better at being a business lady.

Ever heard the phrase "Entrepreneurship is not for sissies", it is like every other field of life. It requires a lot of hard work, dedication, patience, persistence, perseverance and most importantly self motivation. Self motivation has been a major push. Sometimes, I apply for opportunities, some work and some don't. Without self motivation, I probably will just tuck myself in my blanket and sleep some more.

Global Entrepreneurship Week Abuja

It is heart breaking to dedicate your entire soul into a project and it doesn't work out, I have been on that road a few times.
Global Entrepreneurship Week Walk Abuja

It's been an educative year for me and I am thankful for all the wonderful opportunities that has aided in my personal development.

Global Entrepreneurship Week Walk Abuja

I will like to share two key lessons I learned at the Global Entrepreneurship Week.

"Take responsibility for your personal and professional development. Ensure it is a key part when creating your budget for the year."

"Cultivate the habit of excellence, be in a competition with yourself to improve."

Fashion Focus: The Top 5 panties you should own.

Underwears are fashion pieces most ladies tend to ignore. A lot of women fail to understand that the wrong underwear affects the outward appearance of the most fabulous style of dressing.

If you think, it is okay for the linning of your panties to show when you are dressed up, this blog entry is for you.

If you think, it's nice for the world to know when your August visitor is around, this blog entry is for you.
We have different undergarments but today, I will be focusing on the one we call "Pants".

Did you know that different panties are good for different clothing choices and occasion? It’s good to have some variety in the types of panties in your underwear drawer to choose from. It’s easy to get stuck on a favorite style. Maybe this article can inspire you to try something new.

1. Briefs

One of the types of panties many of us have gotten away from is briefs. A lot of ladies don’t find them as fashionable as other panty types. But briefs do have their place. They’re a good choice when you’re on your period. They’re also a good choice if you’re recovering from a c-section or other abdominal surgery because they usually won’t hit your incision.

2. Thongs

Girls either love or hate thongs. It’s a panty that you usually have strong feelings for. Thongs are great for when you’re wearing something that you know will show panty lines. They’re an especially great choice when wearing polyester skirts or dresses since polyester tends to show panty lines quite easily. It’s good to have a pair or two of thong panties tucked back for those times even if it isn’t your favorite type.

3. Hipsters

Hipsters are a great alternative to choose in panties. They’ve really gained popularity in the last few years and for good reason. They fit well, especially if you have more of a pear body shape. They can be worn with a variety of clothing choices and aren’t bad about showing panty lines because the panties tend to cut a little lower on the bottom. They’re also incredibly comfortable.

4. Boy Shorts

Boy shorts are another relatively new choice in panties. They’ve become very popular because of their unique shape and fit. If you’re looking for something a little different in the panty department, try a pair of boy shorts. They’re also a good choice if panty lines tend to be an issue for you, because of the low cut on the upper leg. They’re great to wear with practically anything.

5. G-strings

G-strings are the thong’s even racier cousin. If you want to feel a little sexier, a G-string can do that for you. They have even less fabric than the thong and only cover the bare minimum. You’ll have no panty lines whatsoever with a G-string because the panty is practically not there. They aren’t a panty choice everyone loves but it’s one to try if you’re in the mood to be adventurous.

Be kind enough and share this blog entry with all sisters out there getting it wrong.

Cheers!!!

Fashion focus: The signature shoes for HER closet.

When it comes to fashion, I'm a huge fan of comfortable style, anything that doesn't make me feel at ease is bondage. We shouldn't be slaves to fashion, we have the right to dictate what we expect to feel when we wear any piece of fashionable item, either clothing or accessories. I'm a firm believer and advocate of "comfort".

The cliche statement "Fashion is pain" was not meant for me and I don't agree with it. Fashion should be fun and interesting. When it comes to female accessories, we will all agree that shoes are seldom the most uncomfortable.

When it comes to shopping for shoes, ensure you buy the perfect size and heels. To make your wardrobe planning a little easier, I've zeroed in on the top 6 key styles of shoes every fashion forward lady should have in her closet.

1. The Classic Pump

2. Everyday Sandals

3. Basic Ballet flats

4. Casual kicks

5. Nude Heels

6. Statement heels

If I was to talk about the top 3 I can't do without, it will have to be my classic pumps, ballet flat shoes and statement heels.

What's yours?

Tuesday 15 September 2015

Let's talk about Jesus Christ.

For a while, I've been dreaming about Judgement day. As a Christian, you are bound to hear this in one sermon or another. My dreams are not triggered by fear of the unknown. The truth is everyone would die one day and the Holy book doesn't lie, I believe in the words written in the bible. I believe it takes faith to believe the stories you read in the bible, else you would go through life wondering when all those events in the bible occurred? if Jesus is real? If He actually died to save the world? if He will come back someday to heal the world and take the saints? If you lack faith, your questions would never cease.
I had a dream last night. In this dream, I was moving from one church to another church, listening to pastors preach and showing people a picture of someone they assumed is Jesus Christ. Then a shiny ball of light followed me, the light said "I'm not the person in the pictures, I'm not the person in the bible or the person in the movies. I am the person who dwells inside of you. I am with you all day, all noon, all night and then I woke up. I feel the dream is a personal revelation.

The Bible teaches us about Jesus Christ, the Pastors do their best to help us understand the scriptures, movies illustrate His story, the church connects us all but it is all up to YOU. I recently told a neighbor that Christianity is a religion. If you don't want to emulate Christ, if you don't want all of the fruits of His spirit to dwell in you, then you are practicing a religion. I'm still growing, I yearn to have a perfect relationship with Him and I pray for His grace everyday.

Jesus Christ is not a religion. Being religious is not a criteria to make heaven, being religious is pure deception to oneself, being religious is probably a comic relief to God.

Galatians 6:7 says "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
Revelations 3: 16 says "So, because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, I will spit thee out of my mouth."

In conclusion, love Jesus Christ in your own way and worship Him in your own style. Have a personal relationship with Him and not the world.

Fashion Focus: The Royals- 5 times Kate Middleton dressed like the late Princess Diana

Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a huge fan of Kate Middleton's style. Her style is so elegant, demure , yet chic and classy at the same time. It doesn't matter if she is in a casual or formal outfit, she always look so flawless.

I can say the same for the late Princess Diana, her style was effortless and elegant too. She was just a breathe of fresh air and a beauty to behold.

Many believe Kate Middleton's late mother-in-law is her style muse. We 've seen Kate dress up in outfits which seems to be inspired by Princess Diana's style.

Here are five times Kate Middleton dressed almost like her late mother-in-law...

A little inspiration from a beautiful song "Yesterday was hard on all of us".

I am a sucker for songs that have good lyrics. I recently saw the movie "Selma", I liked the official sound track "Glory" by Common featuring John Legend but I absolutely loved "Yesterday was hard on all of us" by fink. When I read history, I feel terrible and ponder why such a thing had to happen. I've read about South Africa's history on Apartheid system and racial discrimination in Europe and America. The movie "Selma" just showed me a real illustration. In Nigeria, we are currently dealing with Boko Haram, it still seems like a movie to me, not because I don't feel it is real but because it's just difficult to imagine how a human being with a heart can feel so much hatred and derive joy from causing others sorrows. I pray it all ends soon.

I always wanted to visit all the states that make up Northern Nigeria, I visited some while in secondary school.  I enjoyed the song "Yesterday was hard on all of us" and I hope soon terrorism would be in the past and peace can be restored once again in our nation and continent.

Lyrics to Yesterday Was Hard On All Of UsWhere do we go from here
Where do we go
Is it real or just something we think we know

Where are we going now
Where do we go
Cos if it's the same as yesterday you know I'm out
Just so you know
Because
Because
Our paths, they cross
Yesterday was hard on all of us
On all of us
Who can we trust from here
Who can we trust
Are you real or something from wanderlust
Who can you can we trust my dear, sweet, flower
Who can you trust
From cradle to grave
From ashes to ashes, from dust to dust
Because
Because
Our paths, they crossed
Yesterday was hard on all of us
On all of us
Where do we go from here
Where do we go
We've got nothing we can trust and nothing we can sell
That's for sure
How do we get out
How do we move around with all these eyes on us
Tell you what, you go first
Almost like it's kind of rehearsed but
It's not, no
Because
Because
Our paths, they cross
Yesterday was hard on all of us
On all of us.

Skin Care Focus: Dudu Osun (The wonder black soap).

While many of my mates had to deal with pimples and acnes in secondary school, I got to enjoy a clean, smooth and fresh face. I can clearly recall how one of my boarding house mates "Ramatu" would admire my face and tell me she wished she had my kind of skin. I felt I had escaped the horrible part of puberty.

The minute I was done with secondary school and I passed out, puberty kicked in, my face became the dwelling place for pimples and acnes. My face was secreting so much oil. I switched from one product to another but nothing seemed to be working for me.

One lovely holiday at Abuja, I walk into a pharmacy to get drugs for my knee caps (Don't ask me what's wrong with my knee caps), that's another tale for another day. The pharmacist keeps starring at my face and then asks "My dear, what product are you using to treat pimples?" I looked at her and said "nothing! I'm tired of being a skin product whore". She smiles and tells me she understands, she then recommends "To-To soap", a Nigerian soap produced with natural ingredients.

Toto soap was effective, it dealt with the pimples and acnes on my face but my face remained oily. After my short break at Abuja, I returned to Port Harcourt. To-To soap was not readily available in any super market or pharmacy. I went back to using my regular soap and using my facial cleanser daily.

A friend recommended Dudu Osun, I had doubts and wondered if Dudu Osun could solve my skin problems. I decided to do an online research and I was impressed by the results I saw. Even foreigners had nice feedbacks about this soap. Some Africa Americans even use it as shampoo for their natural hair. I just couldn't believe Dudu Osun was this good. I went to the nearest supermarket and bought one.
It's been one month since I started using it and the result is impressive.

I no longer have to deal with pimples, the acnes on my face are steadily clearing and my face is no longer oily. I am so relieved that I don't have to powder my face every hour or wash my face repeatedly when I'm home. Dudu Osun is affordable, readily available across Nigeria and is effective. It's produced with natural ingredients also, so it maintains your natural skin tone. I am not a fan of anything that changes my natural skin colour, I love my skin tone just the way it is.

I normally don't blog about beauty or skin care products but this blog is primarily dedicated to my all-time experience as a fashion designer and a young lass. I know there are a lot of ladies out there who share similar skin issues. Give Dudu Osun a trial,  it works wonders if you are struggling with acne, pimples and oily skin.

Fashion Focus: Queen Daenerys Of Game Of Thrones

I have never been a fan of epic movies or series but Game of thrones came into the spotlight and caught my attention from the first episode of season one. I have followed the story one episode at a time and one season after the other and I simply cannot get over the action, intrigue and suspense.

It's fiction but it relates so much to our own political era, it's a do or die affair in the game of politics just like it is in this thrilling series.

My favorite part of this series is the fashion, As a designer, there is so much styles that have inspired me.

I'm always excited to see what my favorite characters are wearing when all the drama goes down. Medieval-inspired Gowns, fierce battlegear and a look or two from the Mother of Dragons.

Today's blog entry is dedicated to my 5 favorite styles of Queen Daenerys. She is my favourite character, her confidence, strength, determination and courage is inspiring.

Daenerys stood out from the dusty backdrop in a sleek white dress.

Khaleesi plays with her dragon dressed in an elegant white gown.

In a play on the balance needed to attain the throne, Daenerys pairs a soft white slip with a tough blue leather dress.

Khaleesi was dressed for war in her signature blue.

Daenerys's blue dress stands out in a crowd.

Fashion Focus: "THE PENCIL SKIRT" the "CHICEST" of all skirts.

A pencil skirt is quite versatile and with the right accessories and styling, you can easily transform it from a plain formal look into something more chic and fun.

Satin/Lace Pencil skirt by Mi'De Fashion County
What I really love about this type of skirt is that it's flexible enough to team up with most types of tops and shoes. Especially a simple black pencil skirt which can be worn as a part of a conservative office work outfit or for parties or with your casual shirt.

Floral Print  Pencil Skirt By Mi'De Fashion County

You can dress it up for work or parties, or dress it down for casual everyday wear. Just put on your sophisticated dress shirt at daytime and take it off and put on a slouchy t-shirt and you're good to go to the movies later that evening! You can also wear it with a basic tank top and a long cardigan for a cool and casual look.

It has (almost) everything you can ever wish for in a skirt, and that's why I consider a pencil skirt to be one of your most important wardrobe essentials.

5 Powerful Rules for Women Entrepreneurs to Live By.

This is the best article I have read this week and it was written by SUMI KRISHNAN CEO of K4 Solutions. Enjoy!!!

There’s no magic formula for entrepreneurial success, of course. Stepping into the unknown is scary -- and many women doubt their abilities, feeling like impostors. “I believe that no matter how thoroughly prepared a woman might be, she will feel unprepared, whereas a man will feel even more prepared than he really is". Unfortunately, research supports this notion.

Other women hesitate to pursue entrepreneurship from fear of not having enough time for themselves or their families.

Here, then, are five strategies to help you crush these types of entrepreneurial fears and succeed even as you step into the unknown:

1. Quit seeking validation and embrace your crazy.
This is your business. It’s yours because no one else has had the vision you did to start it. Stop seeking validation before you launch a new product, program or idea. The most successful people are those who were once believed to be crazy.

2. Celebrate even the smallest of wins.
To maintain a go-getter attitude requires positive reinforcement. Have you worked up the courage to make that call you’ve been putting off? Finally gotten through that stack of paperwork? Kick up your heels and celebrate! That energy will carry you forward.

3. Get specific.
Now that you’re trusting your own instincts and celebrating along the way, challenge yourself to break down your vision into smaller chunks. With the freedom to do what you want during the day comes the increased need to stick to a plan. What do you want to achieve this month -- and what do you need to do this week to reach your goals? As we know, writing your goals down significantly increases your chances of success.

4. Know that making money is like making broccoli.
A mentor once told me that making money is like making broccoli: You’re not afraid of using up the broccoli in your fridge, are you? You know you can always get more.

Similarly, if you’re committed to growing your business, you can’t be afraid to invest in your growth or do the things that excite you. Rather than worry about the money you’re spending, focus on making each investment worthwhile.

5. Decide to be grateful.
My dad used to say that no matter how good or bad you have it, there’s always someone
who has it better than you and someone who has it worse than you. Comparison is the root of despair. Every day, we get to choose to be grateful for what we have, regardless of where we want to be.

Like anything worthwhile, being an entrepreneur isn't easy. All of us, however, can be grateful for the opportunity to pursue meaningful work and build a life we love. What more could we ask for?

Morning Inspiration: Falling in love with yourself.

Many women find it difficult to appreciate themselves because society puts pressure on them to be completely selfless, any attempt at self nurturing and self love is condemned. It is not easy to overcome this pressure.

Withstanding the opinions of others is at best stressful and at worst debilitating. Many of us are crippled by the masses of people who do not allow us the freedom of our own opinions and the exploration of our own personhood.

To some extent, some women are still vulnerable to the words and opinions of others about how they are. It is for this reason you see young girls imitating the ills of society, they want to be perceived as "cool", they want to have a million followers on twitter, they need others to validate the reason why God created them and would do just about anything to seek the approval of other humans. If we are going to be effective individuals as women, we must develop the ability to embrace ourselves.

A positive self image is not arrogant. It is necessary in order to procure a healthy relationship with others. People who have low self esteem are too obsessive to enjoy others. They cling to others like a vine to a wall. They need others to stand and that need is compulsive and draining.

To be graceful and endure certain things in this world as a woman you need to fall in love with yourself. We are not born in relationships. We are born empty handed, there are no hands to hold but our own. Most of us are single birth babies who spent time alone from the womb to the crib. We played alone in the crib. Alone is where we start and essentially it is where we end. Job says he came here naked and returned naked, it is true.

If there is any relationship you should be clingy to, it is a relationship with God, it is essential to have a healthy spiritual and emotional life as a woman. If your relationship is not fortified with God and yourself, you go into all kinds of relationships for the wrong reasons, both platonic and intimate relationships.

Jesus Christ says that the greatest commandment in the word demands that we love our Lord with all our heart, mind and soul, the second greatest commandment is that we love our neighbour as we love ourselves. But how can we love our neighbours if we do not learn to love ourselves? How can we give to someone a gift that we do not value or believe to be significant?

It is important to balance your life. To be balanced is to have and maintain all elements in their proper proportions. Instead of dwelling too much on the opinions of others, try developing all parts of your life. If one area of your life is deficient and exaggerated, you will be imbalanced.

Set out to be a woman of excellence, be armed with a road map, have a blueprint for living, don't wander the earth aimlessly and hoping to be found by people who will end up trying to please.

Know that you are winner, you are a diamond, you have started as a coal but with determination, hard work, patience and God by your side, you would become a jewel. You are an exquisite wonder to your generation and the opinions of others can't stop you from shinning.

Enjoy the rest of this beautiful day the good Lord created.

How often should we wash our jeans/denim clothing?

How Often Should You REALLY Wash Your Jeans?
When it comes to caring for your denim, you probably fall into one of two camps: You’re either all for rinse, cycle, and repeat, or against washing in general. Whichever camp you’re part of, we thought it’d be helpful to find out when and when not to wash the wardrobe essential, so we took our questions to Google, lol, researched and came up with these answers.

Is it a must to wash a new pair of jeans?
“Absolutely not. Almost all jeans have been washed as part of the fit process. If you are buying a rigid or raw jean, wearing them in from a rigid state is the best way to get them to form to your body.”

So, how often should you really wash your jeans?
“Most jeans stretch and have such great extension that it's no longer necessary to wash your jeans to get them to shrink back up again. Don't wash them every time you wear them. There are optical brighteners in most laundry detergents, which will change the color of your jeans too quickly. I think it's best to wash them every four or five times.”

The number-one rule when it comes to taking care of denim?
“Don’t wash them too often.”

The best tips for washing different colors or fabrics of denim?
“It's always best to wash them in cold water. It helps retain the dyes in the denim for longer periods of time.”

Tips to keep your jeans fresh between washes?
“Hang your jeans and let them air out between wearing. Letting your jeans form to your body as you continue to wear them is the best way to create your own individual wear pattern.”

Fashion versus Decency

This topic has been spinning in my head lately, my mind has been battling with so many questions like what's the thin line between being sexy and being trashy? Can fashion in the 21st century be decent? Who is to be blamed for the type of clothing and trends women all over the world wear and follow? Are fashion designers over doing it with their imaginations and what they end up interpreting? Are foreign and local celebrities the real problem? Do fashion bloggers contribute to indecent style? Do men encourage indecent dressing? I am guessing you as the readers can help me answer these questions.

As a fashion designer and a down to earth lass, I have always been a fan of demure, sophisticated and chic style. I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ and off course the church preaches decent dressing but this has nothing to do with my personal style, I have just always being conservative with my style and simplicity does it for me. I am in no position to judge but I believe showing too much skin is trashy.

I see people celebrating trashy fashion as classy fashion, a person is practically nude and it's celebrated, this is so wrong and it seldom gets my spirit vexed because there are young girls growing up every day and by encouraging trashy dress codes, we let these young girls believe that it's okay to dress that way or it's okay to look that way.

Historically, a woman was the embodiment of decency and always dressed in a way exemplary to subsequent generations. In the 1950s, women wanted to look tailored and put together. Young women usually wore dresses which had a swing skirt, one type being a poodle skirt, and older women usually wore dresses which had a pencil skirt and bolero sleeves.

Typical 50s Fashion
However, in the wake of globalization, most women have lost touch with decency by stereotypically perceiving fashion and style as synonymous with indecency. In Africa, the youthful women, who are more exposed to alien fashions of foreign cultures, have developed the mentality that decency is out of fashion and is not “cool”.

I believe in dressing modestly, our bodies are so special and hence I dress to respect myself. Been trashy calls for attention and it is usually the negative kind of attention.
Kate Middleton
Kate Middleton

There are fashion icons in the spotlight who I have come to admire over the years. Their style is usually effortlessly sexy, yet always put together neatly. I love Kate Middleton, this royal sweet heart is an epitome of cutting edge sophistication. Back home, I am a fan of Genevieve Nnaji, Nowe Isibor and Kate Henshaw's fashion style.

Genevieve Nnaji

Nowe Isibor

Kate Henshaw
No one can define your personal style for you. For the sake of young girls out there, over exposing your body is not sexy at all. A good man with the fear of God would still love you even when you are properly covered up. Choose your fashion role models carefully, you can admire the good qualities of an individual but no one says you have to admire the bad and ugly qualities.

Something for the guys-Colour & Complexion: What colour will suit you?

This is my first blog entry for the year 2015, Happy New Year beautiful people. So I'm guessing by now, a lot of people have already executed some of their personal goals on their to-do-lists, if that describes you, then I say this to you "Bravo!!!"

Today's blog entry is inspired by a male friend of mine who called me yesterday to ask me for the right colours that suits his skin colour. I was surprised but glad he decided to take fashion more seriously in 2015, I don't get to have guys ask me for fashion tips, style or grooming advice, lol. My friend is light skinned and I figured other readers out there or male friends might share the same challenge as my friend.

So what colour will suit you?

The key to a good colour match is to first identify what skin tone you have. Broadly speaking, there are three complexions: pale, medium and dark. If you’re having trouble identifying exactly where you fall, try experimenting with various colours until you find the best match.

Some people may find they natural sit on the borderline between two complexions. If this is the case, try picking the best of both worlds. Remember, the best match is the one you feel most comfortable with.

Pale Skinned and Light skinned

Light coloured skin and Pale skinned guys tend to have brighter eye colours, so it’s important to find something to subtly offset all the lightness.

Your best bet is to stick to restrained tones that blend with your complexion. Try wearing pastel shades. You’ll look great in blues, browns and beiges. Avoid vivid reds, yellows, pinks and purples, these will look too vibrant and ‘hot’ against your skin, leaving your features washed out.

Medium Skin

The broadest category of the three, and one which most men fall into. With the middle tone you can get away with just about anything, the only exception being clothes that closely match elements of your skin tone such as olive or tan. Good contrast colours include black, dark blue and beige.

Dark Skin

Those with a darker complexion need to find clothes that give contrast to their skin without being outrageously bold.

Your top colours include lighter shades of blue, grey and cream; these subtle shades deliver good contrast without washing you out. Avoid shades of black, navy and deep brown that closely match your specific skin colour wherever possible.

Hope this blog entry helps you choose the right colours when next you go for clothing shopping.
